Income Qualifications
The income limits shown are based on San Diego County Area Median Income (AMI) and are used to determine eligibility for affordable housing by household size and income category (such as Extremely Low, Very Low, and Low Income). Income limits are established annually by HUD and adopted by local agencies.
Income limits are updated once per year. New income limits for 2026 are expected to be released in early spring 2026 (typically March-April) and will be applied once published.
